If you're traveling from up north, don't forget to drop by for a hearty lunch at Mila's tokwa't baboy in Angeles City, Pampanga. Mila's tokwa's baboy was introduced to me by my brother who were based in Clark way back I think around two years ago. Whenever we have family summer outing up north, before heading back to Manila, we always find time to visit this humble place. Last two years, the set up of their indoor and outdoor seating has an ambiance of a casual non-intimidating go to place, with plenty of plastic monobloc chairs and tables. It gets too crowded during busy hours but it's okay and super worth it. Recently their place have improvements like air-conditioned dining area, ample parking lot, and clean restrooms. It's always the usual order whenever we go to this place, two orders of their famous sisig, two orders of tokwa't baboy, and of course my favorite, the paco salad.

This is probably the most sought after here in Mila's, and this would not disappoint at all. ☺ |
Another crowd's favorite would be this tokwa't baboy. This is not your usual tokwa't baboy guys! The tokwa (tofu) is sooo crispy, with succulent pig ears (for the baboy) and topped with celery and their home made soy sauce.
Lastly, to balance out the goodness of their food, we always order atleast two to three plates of my all time favorite Paco (salad). They said that this would lessen the guilt of too much eating of pork haha. I can't help but agree hehehe 😋.

Paco salad is made of fresh ferns with salted egg, onions, and tomatoes. Don't forget to dip it with their yummy Pinakurat dip (spiced vinegar, ohhh this is sooo yummy! 😰) |
