Friday, 18th of August, me and my beau wanted to try the "afternoon feast, eat all you can" of Din Tai Fung. The promo runs from June 20 until August 18 from 2pm to 5pm all weekday. It was the last day, 18th of August and since we're celebrating as well our monthsary, we decided to give it a try. For only 399 per head (plus service charge) it is a definitely a good deal. You got to choose from 10 different dish that will satisfy your afternoon meryenda cravings. Here's the special menu for the afternoon feast.

What we ordered first is of course the Chicken Xiaolongbao ten pieces (2 sets). We were very curious how it taste because what we usually order in DTF is their Pork xiaolongbao. To our surprise, their chicken xiaolongbao is sooo delish like the famous Pork xiaolongbao =). Same ratio of the vinegar and soysauce with garlic strips is a must for every piece of it. Make sure to take a small hole of every piece so that the sauce and the broth will ooze and the taste will be superb.

We had at least 3 or 4 sets of xiaolongbao (I can eat this all day! haha). We also tried the Pork and roasted garlic buns, this is very yummy too but it is very heavy for me because of the dough. I rather prefer the xiaolongbao haha =) .
The dessert would be the mango sago pomelo. This is not your regular mango sango, it is very creamy and super yummy. If I was not very full, i have ordered another set. I would definitely order this again when I come back in Din Tai Fung.
Wasn't able to take pictures of the all the dishes we've tried but to sum it all up, it was all worth it. I hope that Din Tai Fung will have this super sulit afternoon feast again.
