Lazy Sunday early afternoon lead me and my beau on the street of Maginhawa, Quezon City. We weren’t craving for anything at all, but we were both starving since we woke up late and this would be our first meal for the day. Wo roamed around the place and ended up with this tiny but packed Crazy Katsu.
The menu is precise and not heavy, it’s just one page. It’s a good thing for me since I’m not a fan of restaurants with a “massive book” menu. The price on Crazy Katsu is very cheap, for one a hundred plus pesos, you can choose from katsu meals, specials, salad, soup and even for a dessert not bad right? I ordered Katsudon, beau ordered Tonkatsu, we ordered Miso soup and Gyoza on the side since we were starving and curious if the taste is okay.

Katsudon – 165 Php |
|
Tonkatsu – 160 Php |
|
Miso soup – 30php, this one’s very good considering the price is very cheap!

|
Gyoza – 140
Extra rice was not included on the pictures anymore, but in case you were wondering how much it cost, well it’s only 15 pesos =)
Our overall experience with Crazy Katsu was so goooodddd. You get a cheap food but the taste is satisfying. Food was served to us for around 20mins or less. Service was outstanding, they accomodated us right away when we came, if we need anything they were very attentive. We almost forgot our cellphones on the chair but good thing the waitress handed over it to us before we left, good thing we were still waiting to take a uturn because it was too busy on the area.
